Don't forget about the kids who like to fly their T-16s to bullseye the slightly less than two meter Womprats that infest the canyon...

PuttAlong and I rode a nice 3 day 800 mile loop to central Oregon this weekend. 36 degrees when we left Sumpter Oregon this morning. We came across probably 2 dozen adventure riders during the trip, mostly on BMW's and V Stroms with luggage. Not a single Harley rider to be seen. uploadfromtaptalk1506899517401.jpg

Mtseeker and I did a camp and ride up the Lochsa at Powell. It was a little bit cold and snow at higher elevations, but the riding was great.

I did the same thing; lovely Lostine coffee, dodge Bambi, and play with the heater controls. The important lesson for today is that when the wife says I'm not needed for the garden cleanup, get the Hell out of Waitsburg!

Dang is right. Glad you didn't get taken out by one although that would have been quite the story.

Took a day off to relax from the holiday (lol), anyway sunshine and the CRK250X calling my name... and off I went. Until December 1 you can ride the Smoothing Iron (gates are still open) so that was my route... up on top of the game land it got muddy... but the Kendas did not fail me and kept the bike upright... snow at about 5800 feet of elevation and kept pushing thru until getting to the top, and left hand turn back to Wenatchee Guard Station, rode the VERY MUDDY:clap Back Road, down Campbell Grade and on home...

    My best "snow bike" imitation...

Yeah, maybe.... 34* now and was raining hard a little while ago, still raining. I'm stuck at home with 20 puppies and another litter due next week. Can't be more than two hours away from home, and that's after the next litter is born. Until then I'm stuck here except for quick trips to the store.
