    Hi all,

I own a small company that primarily makes cinematography equipment but I also like to go on long off-road motorcycle rides and got tired of dealing with lousy phone mounts. So I made my own. It's called the Perfect Squeeze and you can see more here: Hondo Garage - Perfect Squeeze.

We machine them at our shop in Bozeman, Montana. All aluminum and stainless steel. Works with pretty much any phone (even big phones like the 6+) and uses our dovetail bar clamp or a 1" RAM ball. If anyone has any questions, I'm happy to answer them.

That's me doing an assembly test. For the curious, it takes about two minutes to assemble one.

Very cool product Mondo-Hondo! Have you marketed this to cyclists yet? I sure could have used this during a fast descent at 50+ mph last Saturday as my iPhone jiggled out of it's handlebar mount after a mid corner bump.:eek2 I was very lucky to catch it with my left hand and shove it in a jersey pocket.

I had the pleasure of testing out the Perfect Squeeze mount a few weeks ago.

Phone used: Samsung Galaxy S5 + Tech D3O case.

First let me say I really liked the mount. It's simple, elegant and holds the phone on very securely. Additionally, mounting and un-mounting the phone is very quick and easy.

I mounted it on my Super Enduro and took it out for a thrashing. Jumps, whoops and general high speed off-road shenanigans and the phone never budged nor needed additional tightening. Once set, it stayed in place.

It's a nice, solid piece of equipment.

We haven't started marketing it to cyclists yet, but we did do a lot of testing with downhill and enduro bicycles, so it's ready for the cyclist amrket. In fact, I expanded the bar clamp range a bit to work with 35mm bars that some MTBs are running now. We're doing a slow launch of the product and the ADV forum was my first marketing stop :)

I alternate between using a cheap Garmin Nuvi and sometimes my Samsung Galaxie Note3.
The problem with the Note 3 is, it wont fit in my X mount GPS bracket if I have the protective case on it.

Plus, the X mount has been found unreliable by some.

Will your rig take this big of a bite, so I could leave my case on?

Any plan for a Ram mount ball on the back perhaps-- my handlebars are full!

Or even a flat-backed version where a guy could use Ram's 1/4=20 thread "ball", and not have to have the handlebar clamp?

Yep, it will fit your phone and case. The max spread is 3.625". As for RAM mounts, it comes with the AMPS hole pattern on the back, which is what RAM uses, so you can mount a 2-bolt or 4-bolt RAM ball to the back. We sell them in three versions: with our bar clamps, with no bar clamps and a RAM ball preinstalled, or with the RAM ball, RAM arm, and RAM handlebar ball. We'll also be selling all the mounting parts separately so you could switch later if need be.

Looks like a GREAT product (I'm a Dinosaur, still using a worthless Flip-phone) and excellent job on the Video.......none of that talking-with-your-hands hand-waving stuff like on Revzilla videos :lol3. Looks to be a sturdy mount. Good luck with your launch!!!!

I like it, thanks for the spec-by-spec reply. Cost/price for one where I use my own Ram Ball?

We probably won't normally sell it with no mounting option installed. The price with a RAM ball on the back is $89, but if you really want to use your own RAM ball, those sell individually for $8 so it would be $81. Just leave us a note on the checkout page and we can refund the difference.

Looks good. May be just what I need!
In the video on your webpage, it looks like you have a ram equipped mount attached to the KTM/touratech GPS mount on the 990ADV.. How did you attach the ram ball to the small bar on that mount? I have that mount (not installed) for my 990, and if this is a good solution it may be perfect for me.

The 990 is a friend's bike and I didn't pay much attention to how he'd mounted the ram ball. it was already on the bike when I shot the video. I think he just used the standard ram handlebar clamp (same one we're selling in the complete kit) but I'll check.

Thanks for the order. And calling it practical art is a very very big compliment. Thank you.

Hi. Nice looking mount for the phone. Can I get a look at the back to see if it will mount on a 15mm tube my GSA use as for supporting the screen. Will you post international ? Thanks, Ralph
