I pity dogs that never get off a leash and get the chance to run or swim free. My buddy is so lucky we live where we do.

I haven’t seen a ring neck around my house in 30 years. I’ve seen 3 in the last week. They must of stocked them this year.

More shots of my little buddy
His name is flex because he has flecks instead of being solid.
That means he is a merle, though you might have thought of him as a "tri" color.

Thanks, Otter is such a fantastic dog and so much fun to be around. When I am outside doing anything, he is right by my side and then off exploring and always checking in. He is 10 1/2 now it is is hard to see him slow down a bit and be sore from long days in the woods, but he has had an wonderful life hunting and doing canoe expeditions with my wife and I. He has been on 13 long trips that we guided in the northwoods of Canada.

He is also the first dog I have ever seen that was able to actually sleep while sitting up.

Flud and me the day we took the motor out of the triumph. He was a "lickhead". In the back of his mind he was always trying to figure how he could manuver into a situation where he could give your earlobe a smack.

Back when he was young we had some professional photos taken.

Here is a look at flex's first few months. I thought his traits were different than I was used to in all my previous auzzies. He has certainly turned into a best friend. He is a weirdo for sure.

A bit of a lenthly video... it is.
But an intimate view as well !!!
