I came across these mounts in the Husaberg thread:

I though they were prefect as I just purchased a FE450 and was wondering how to carry anything on the bike. If you don't know much about the Husaberg, it's a feather light bike. One of the features contributing to its light weight is the use of a lot of plastic. In fact, the sub frame and the whole rear of the bike is plastic leaving no good mounting for a rack. The mounts shown in the photos above are pretty trick, but very, very expensive. Additionally the fixing of the mount to the plastic left something to be desired as it's metal on plastic over a small area.

So I got to work and designed a similar mount that captures the plastic panel between two rubber lined Bellivlle style washers. The rubber seals keep out water, adds considerable clamping area, and protects the plastic. Additionally the rubber keeps the fastener from loosening.

Would these work for mounting to a Pelican case as an attachment point for Rok Straps and the like?

I'm not familiar with Rok Straps, but looking at the photos of them I would say no, I know the strap will not pass through the loop and stay "flat". The width of the loop is about 1". These were designed for Bungie hooks and alike.
Thanks and I hope this answers your question.

Just FYI ...........ROK Straps incorporate a "collapsible webbing" on each end with a Loop sewn in. Further down the strap is the Flat, Elastic portion that would not work well within the rack loops. ROK straps also make a 5/8" wide x 42" long version.......that also holds a lot of weight, just like it's bigger brother (1"wide).

So, IMO the ROK Straps WOULD work with these grab loops..........

I'll pass on the Rack Loops, but thought others might have the same question.
