just got back from 3 days of set up on the trails in Wabeno. Things are looking very good at this point. it rained thurs-fri and sat- but sunday was sunny and nice to roll chart. the crew doing main route decided to make a reroute after sticking 3 bikes to the seat on a newly graded logging road. sad to say it was the section with the little bridge we made last year. that spot all been back filled to the point you could drive an Esclade over it. we got to add more mileage to to a couple hero sections. things are pretty damp up there and unless it just stops raining for the next 3 plus weeks, I think it would be safe to expect puddles, mud and a need for good knobbies on the ride this June. See you all in Wabeno! lj

Yes, sometime after this weekend and well before the event.

Those registered for the event will be given a link to use to download the file prior to traveling to the event. The file will also be available at the event for upload there. Always best to download it in advance and upload it to your unit before going to Wabeno.

it was beatuiful on friday, and it was really nice on sunday after the fog burned off, saturday was just a good gloomy day untill it started to rain @ 3 in the afternoon. at least it was 30 degrees warmer that the weekend before when it was raining.

we went out and preroad the whole sat loop, everything is looking nice and even with all the rain most areas are doing good at getting rid of the excess moisture. areas around very low or swampy areas are damp to knee deep, even did a couple reroutes. looking forward to seeing everyone and riding the event. see you in Wabeno. little john

This past weekend I rode most of the Thumper route on my GS Adventure. Water levels are up, and the trails are in great shape.

We had a great time preparing for this event. The weather didn’t always cooperate but then, this is Wabeno. Thank you to all of the club members that came out to the work weekends. We got a lot done the first weekend so this past weekend was spent riding, verifying roll charts and GPS tracks.

    We routed around this.

This is a new section with a couple of miles of single track in the woods/hills behind the moto track. It should prove to be fun.
