Yeah, we do. But it turned out to be less than waterproof in heavy stuff so we added the ragtop. I'd forgotten about Chaco's lid. Hey Gene, how do you close up the sides in a deluge? If Tulliver's memory foam bed gets wet it stays wet for a week!

Some of us use our rigs the way they were intended to be used...for our dogs!

My dog loves the sidecar, problem is he hates other people and they always want to come over and see him because he is in a sidecar. Catch 22

Barley, who had 55,000 miles under his collar, loved people. He would get so excited he'd reach up and grab things that dangled. That was a problem when he reached up and latched onto some busty lass who bent over to pet him...

Could you cover his bed with a mattress cover?

I have a solution that works for me, just curious how those with more traditional tubs handle it

Sidecar passenger rain cover? Here's fairly good idea that should snap on/off when needed. https://www.corporaterunaways.com/2012/08/15/dogs-in-sidecars/

Guy did a pretty good write up on it. Of course the shape is a bit short for humans. I wouldn't use the fabric they did (stiff). I would use a Sunbrella fabric so it can be rolled up and stored in the trunk when not in use.

Anyway, this guys basic idea seems solid..... and adaptable.

If that was they only place he found dog food, he would like it plenty well in a week or so.

Egads! As many times as I was accused of training him to do that, taking pix would have resulted in violence upon my person!

1/2 blue and 1/2 green chain is a sweet touch! Not sure how user friendly that fuel tank is but I'd take her for a spin around the MX track!
