By popular demand. And by popular, I mean Rabbi. :D

I'll repeat my last post, about Chicharito to West Ham.

BET365 says that since 2010 West Ham have signed 31 strikers.

20 of them haven't scored more than three goals.

Jeez, it took Virgil van Dijk long enough to say something. Weeks after Liverpool embarrassed themselves chasing him and Chelsea bought Rudiger because Soton insisted they wouldn't sell.... now, now van Dijk tells the club he wants out. He's being forced to train alone.

Someone's going to spend a wad of cash but get a very very good center-back., I sure hope it isn't City. After spending all that money on wingbacks/fullbacks, maybe they won't have any money left? Fat chance. :lol3

By the time the dust settles on Man City's checkbook, they will have spent north of £130 million on fullbacks/wingbacks. :yikes

    Pep must love that position.

    Manchester city so far
    Kyle Walker – 51,00 Mill. €
    Bernardo Silva – 50,00 Mill. €
    Ederson – 40,00 Mill. €
    Danilo – 30,00 Mill. €
    Douglas Luiz – 12,00 Mill. €
    Mendy - 57.5
    + still shopping

They could spend 300 million this window. FFP? What FFP? Just get a sovereign nation (your owners) to buy your stadium's naming rights for an insane amount of money and watch UEFA look the other way.

It's only Marca, but 180 million for Mbappe? Prices have gone through the roof this summer.

Levy just came out and said that the EPL is paying way over "normal" rates...

It's funny, as he is more than willing to allow others to do so... But that is his job I guess.

And we all know what Sir Alex said about dealing with Levy.

I get the PL paying more, they just got a boost in TV money. But why are Madrid and PSG going crazy?

Some of it is the player they want. I don't think anyone can rationalize the Neymar money, that's just freaking insane.

But for players like that you are always going to pay a premium for.

Adding Lukaku, while troubling, was almost an even swap for Zlatan's goals. Adding Matic is a real problem, though. I'm bummed that Chelsea sold him to United. He's not as great as he was three seasons ago, but he'll make a very strong midfield addition if Mourinho goes 4-3-3.
