Only 70 hp from the MT 07 motor.... it may go for ages but will take fucking ages to get there too........
Concept bike, but ergo's look strange. Footpegs 20cm above bottom of the frame/bashplate... and looks front heavy.
Look at the pic above.... the rider must be a real midget. If he was standing next to the bike, the bars would be at his chest height.

    Stuff from the other thread

If the weight could be kept down to circa 690 levels, then 70HP would be fine

But Yamaha aren't traditionally recognised for the lightness of their bikes

i think yamaha have turned a corner with the mt- series. they've made a big effort to keep the weight down. i've ridden the mt-07 and mt-09. light and real power at real world rev's. i was very impressed with the mt-07 in particular. its a storming little motor. the mt-09 boogies as well

its the engine that's all wrong shape wise, and throws everything out of wack, unless they can shrink the sump and lower the engine its a dud
it will be too tall, to high a COG, blah blah blah

and that's coming from a Yamaha fan

    its a frame changer......

Yes, now that I take a good look at it....

What's with the big bulbous bash plate thing sticking out so far?

    Pegs up so high?

Me thinks that 700 street bike motor makes too many compromises.

That bash plate is covering a big set of road bike headers I bet.
