Tim, If you are going through Ft. Nelson, on the way out of town on north side of town there is a museum there that is a good stop, some old cars and lots of of other stuff, has a monster engine, use ladder to go to top, it used to run generators for power plant. It is kinda on the back side and on the north side. The museum is Kinda like stepping back in time.

A good friend once told me that there was only a few ways left to adventure travel. I'm pretty sure he figured out the best way to do just that! I'm envious of you new Adventure. Have fun take plenty of photos! Us working slugs will follow along here on the forums! See you in a few months.

Tim, I just looked at your inReach tracking map. Did you really hit Knoxville at 1:59am this morning? I knew you probably anxious to hit the road, but damn!

Left the house at 12:45 am this morning....drove about 750 miles on I-40...drank coffee...ate cookies...got free coffee at the Pilot because I complimented the cashier on her 30th birthday and still having one good tooth left...chewed meat at Cracker Barrell...stopped for the night at the Americas Best Value Inn just across the border in OK...it is not...had dinner at the restaurant next door...pretty good...only a few hours tomorrow to Rocky’s place...Ben is having an adventure already...he can fill you in if he wants.

BTW this place rocks. I-40@OK Hwy 64...I loves me some mom and pop diners.

I trust you have a Pilot/Flying J value card? Sign up for one next stop. Sign up as a RV owner. 5c a gallon off and free coffee after you buy about 6000 gallons of petrol.

Just a guess! It took me about a year to get enough points for a coffee! 5c off each gallon of petrol is awesome though.
