The developer in the vid talked about rigidity and stability through the chasis, aided even more with a little less suspension travel, the 12 really shines in that aspect. Ever since i saw the bike and looked at what theyve done i believe they are still trying to make it more tour worthy rather than improve offroad, even though they dont say it, the formular works with the 12 so why not

I get that Bruce but I'm talking radically different in that they've shifted the rear tank to the front again so whole new concept. The only downfall of the last frame that I've heard about was the shock mounting which is rectifiable.

Can't help feeling they've taken a wrong turn for what I would want but I think their sales are going to increase and Yamaha seems to be in the same boat with the Tenere.

Be interesting to see KTM's final offering (not that I'm in the market)

Not sure about what their sales numbers will be as their price increase is quite large. How many will pay $24,000 for a GS850.

I see they've also bumped the price of the runout 700 and 800s to around 3k more than they were at this time last year. - I'm guessing it's so that they can show the price hike for the new models as being minimal.

There'll always be someone who wants to be "first with the worst", though.

Possibly knock the price up now then later reduce it back down so it looks like your getting a discount lol
