Needs decent front mudguard, either that or don't ride on wet gravel or mud.

While the person i spoke to is a dealer and youd expect a good report, he was genuilly impressed with the 850 when he rode it in Sardinia on road and off road. Particularly mentioning how the engine felt and went. He mentioned all the electronics went very well with the bike, as youd expect being replicated from the 12

    Here's a "dirty vid" of the 850:

At the hands of a professional, it looks quite capable in true off road.

Yeah, the only problem is that everything, and anything, looks good when a pro is in control.

And only 2 litres of fuel in the tank and possibly doctored suspension.

The narrator reminds me of Boorat. So far 2 of the testers rate AT as the better long distance tourer, even though it was the only one without cruise control.

What is the latest update on when this bike will be on sale?

The 15 litre tank is probably to keep the weight down.

I watched them thinking what I have been thinking for quite some time not just about these bikes, that in reality there aren't many bad bikes these days and in most cases it just comes down to what you may personally prefer about one or the other.

I dont actually mind the Borat guy, ive watched a bunch of his vids, and skinny guy with glasses seems to ride ok and know a bit, not sure why they had the spare wheel though, just making up number 3 i suppose.

Anyway its like anything, you collect a bunch of data about bikes from multiple sources and apply your own filters over time

I like this bloke's reviews - always seems like he's trying really hard not to be violent

    Some beautiful scenery ...
