I sent my check in yesterday.
Yes, checks are starting to arrive. Our IT guy has been pretty inactive this year so online registration is a thing of the past.
See the first post for info on how to enter via snail mail. There is a deadline postmark for saving on the entry fee.
Thanks for the reminder Rus! Sending entry today!
How long does the ride generally take? Seems to me if we hit the road around 8:00 we'll be done by noon.
figure 6-7 hours on average. Gotta stop for food and gas. Then figure on at least 45 minutes for the museum. (don't miss it)
Day 1 will be about 120 miles. Day 2 a bit shorter to get people done by 3 or 4pm, so they can pack up and head home. So far we have people from PA, ME and NJ signed up so we don't want then to miss work Monday.
just a little over a month to go. early spring should have the area in great shape for this event
who's pre entered so far??
FYI..................Saturday's ride is an awesome 140 miles!

This will be a first for me.Looking forward to it.Got to find a small tent
I will be pre-entering this week.
Personally I kind of like the snail mail aspect. Dry camp on a field. Visit Hollerich's museum. Snail mail to pre reg. It all fits. Perfectly.
Thanks for bringing it back.
totally old school. you forgot to mention the paper routesheet.
My check is in tomorrow's mail.
You guys sound like a bunch of hipsters! Will we have artisanal rollcharts?
good call! i'll bring a few rolls of this
we split that in half to make the route sheets

I've done some light off roading on my DR650, I have anakke 3's on it right now (a 90/10 tire). Would I be in over my head or is it mostly dirt roads and the like?
From my experience, you'll be just fine sticking to the main route. They do sprinkle in some hero sections that have a generous amount of mud though. If your bike is challenged in the traction department, you are best avoiding these. If mud is your thing, you won't be disappointed.
I almost forgot about the route sheet. I'll be sure to get mine mounted, and ready to roll.
