Sight unseen, I'm sure it can be adapted, but doubt it'll bolt straight on without fabbing a mount and midpipe. It'll be noisier and likely breathe better than stock.

So, two different terms here: "Locked" and "Blacklisted"

"Locked" means that it can only be used for a particular carrier (Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.), whereby "unlocked" means that you can take your phone to anyone's carrier (or swap in a SIM depending on the technology of the phone) and it will work as a free agent.

"Blacklisted" means that the phone cannot be reactivated by the carrier because it has been placed on the naughty list by the carrier. What gets it on the naughty list? Typically it is because the person did not pay their bill, and the carrier will not give them service - so the phone's access is being held ransom until the person pays up. Which if it is locked, then they have a bricked phone when it comes to cellular access. A phone can also be blacklisted if it is reported stolen, which is why it is morally preferable to buy it from a reputable dealer with a paper trail to show that it was purchased in good faith. It is not likely that it would ever become an issue, but best to stay on the level.

However, for my purposes, I intend to use the phone as a GPS navigation device that will live on airplane mode for 99% of its life unless I am updating maps via WiFi at my house. So, one person's not fulfilling their obligations via contract agreement leads to a "blacklisted" phone which gets picked up by a secondary buyer and sold on eBay to some non-picky guy like me looking to use it for a navigation device.

By way of mention, the Kyocera Duraforce XD is mil-spec IP-68 ruggedized, which means that it can endure shocks, rain, snow, even demonstrations of Newtonian Physics on the bonus loop, and still be happy as a clam living out its life on the handle bars of a fine dual sport bike like the mighty DR650.

There is a GREAT write-up about it here: http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/ultra-rugged-kyocera-phones-gps-smartphones-my-guide.1206076/

Edit: To answer your question, the GPS function is native hardware on the Android, so no "service" is needed to get it to function as a GPS. You can download apps on WiFi at your house from the Google Play Store.

The bike would be considered excellent condition for an 08 It looks brand new with a fresh set of K270's. I'll see how bad he wants to sell it, without offending him. I may just ask him, what's your bottom dollar.

Edit.. After looking at the pics, I realized it is a 2012. lol

Loud, need new packing, crappy screws for end cap, and loud.

Not direct slip on. Will require correct mid pipe. Yosh silencer entrance looks larger than others so a yosh mid pipe may be required. Or, custom made. I can get a measurement tomorrow on entrance size if you want.

I would wear that faded yellow with pride. A little mud and dust and the bike would be a full on statement :D

Only on the left side, the right side looks like it was in the shade.

I guess that’s a statement too. I’m a dirt bike snob? No other bikes compare? Or, was it really that coolaid? I have always had a thing for European bikes, Husqvarna (from Sweden) Husberg and KTM/Penton we even had a DKW 125 with the Sachs engine. I have the same character faults with street bikes. Jury is out on the new pumpkin, still haven’t rode it for real, dealer has had it since last Thursday evening for its 1 hour service. It’s almost “ready to race”, I hope.
