Optical conclusion, (or is that collusion?). Two bolts, the same ones that hold the fender stays.
Oh my dog there's no collusion !!!!!!
I was rushin' to think of a witty retort to that, but it appears you trumped me.
An early road train.
One for the Tangerine Dream and bro's... sweet as, eh.
The chain drive on that shovel is BAD ASS!
There's something about a gal that can play the spoons gets me going! And with such flair! Lord help you if she got a hold of you!! You wouldn't be able to walk for a week!!!
She's got a wicked set of tonsils, too.
Things took an uninteresting turn this mornin'. Welder decided no weldy. Hmmm.
Leprechauns can report that the weldy thing now does weldy things again after a thorough service. Bit of a shame really, seeing as three of the little fellas were standing by with the 5" grinder to dispose of the sidecar-bike thing. They appeared most crestfallen when the weldy thing decided it would come out to play for another round or two. Oh well.
Welder doing sort of weldy things.
Was having a bit of a chat with Archie while he waited for another spare crank to be ground (he's a tad concerned as to what spares to take with him, as it'll be a long swim home to grab some). The car (full bodied) ships late next week to Orlando, Fl.
This isn't his fastest ET. You can see him in action come October if you want to, Bob.
SpeedWorld, Gainesville or both?
There is always JB Weld or some of that stronger than steel tape.
Good question. I couldn't tell you.
All I know is that he's been invited and that he is being assisted financially to help get him there. We've done some of the machining on his block, and of course the crankshaft/s. Having an opportunity to see what is inside that motor is kinda neat.
As an aside: a forum member posted up a short video of their rebuilt bike motor that they were having trouble with tuning. It just so happened to coincide that Archie and another well know engine builder were in the shop and we all watched the video. Advice was offered to the person and got summarily rejected. Their motor subsequently died an inglorious death shortly thereafter./
That air cleaner looks like an old school oil bath
Donaldson with a pre-cleaner.
The bodywork will curve to follow the front and end just below the intake. You'll never see it from the front or side. The leprechauns are trying to squeeze everything in as tight and compact as possible, yet still allow for access when required.
The storage... box?, whatever you want to call it, is for things that I may want to get to quickly while I'm on the bike. It also covers the winch just nicely.
Still have reasonable airflow between the tug and chair without encroaching too far into the monkey's spot.
Nice looking Ford hardtop with skirts on in the background.
Anything that could possibly have held a Y block only interesting if you have a cast iron fetish !
