If you can go...please go. Remind them to include singletrack and old counties roads in their planning for motorcycles.

Most side by side people I see on trails are drinking and driving.

This is awesome. A lot of guys have you to thank for putting this togehter.

Makes me sorry I moved to AZ from La Grange...almost. And it was not by choice, Uncle Sam moved me.

Maybe I can come back and give this a try one day.

    Safe Riding!

Thanks! I lived in LaGrange the first 2 years that I got married. Other than that, I've lived in Crestwood my whole life.

And trashing the place with the empty beer cans. I can almost forgive the drinking but the trash is really ummmm trashy! Not to mention gives ammo to the people that dont want us there in the first place!Sheesh!

I don't litter. And don't drink anymore. But that's another story.

Back in 08 I got a DUI and part of the punishment was community service. The worst thing was I had to pick trash. We really need to start enforcing the law on littering. Double the fine. It's a shame how much people are disrespectful to the land and others. No morals it seems like anymore.

Just sayin, I've never seen anyone drinking on the trail AND hauling out the empties. But, your right. Not everyone in a sxs is drinking.

I have been lurking here for a while and feel the need to comment on the trash...

A little background, I am a native Kentuckian born and raised in LA (Louisville Area) currently expatriated to North Mississippi due to work in Memphis. IMHO garbage and trash is our worst enemy. As stated above "empties are evidence". I live in the country in a beautiful part of the world but for the garbage that people throw on the road continuously. It saddens me to see this. Again as stated above it is fuel for the locals who see it as a reason to keep us out at all costs. Who can blame them?

Many thanks to Jeff@thequadshop and all others for putting in all the work to make this happen!!!

I've always been amazed and applled by how so many people who obviously enjoy being out in the woods and nature can just leave their trash everywhere. Hikers, and hunters are guilty of this too as are some locals. The less "invasive" (trash, noise, trespassing etc.) visitors are the less opposition we will likely find. Many of the folks living in the more rual area do so to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The less we disrupt that the better off we are. Unfortunately, it is easy for residents to ignore or not easily see the positive financial impact the vistors bring to the area but its easy to observe trash and hear excessively loud vehicles.

Not that I've seen. It's pretty easy if dry, would be difficult on a big bike when wet.

Can anyone give me a time/distance on the standard KAT route: Williamson to Appalachia. ?

I am planning a trip down to Damascus, VA. to ride the MABDR up to Romney for the Camp and Ride, Or reverse direction.

I have the track from Appalachia-Damascus, don't know the time distance for that ether.

Just in the planning stages. Thanks in advance. Brian
