The Lyme disease is a pandemic now. See the Lyme thread in Inmates. It is not just one pathogen. In the interview, What Your Government Won't Tell You About Lyme, the doctor says there are 7 pathogens on an average infection.

In the early infection stage (3 weeks untreated), there is a good chance of eliminating it with 60-68 days with Doxycycline. - John Hopkins Lyme website and Dr Burrascano guidelines, mathematically arrived.

However, if you read the Abstract of Dr. Sapi et al's study, Lyme organisms are not fully killed by Doxycycline alone.

If Lyme and its co-infections become Chronic Lyme (long-term Lyme infection), then the future is dire, since:

    a) The patient will likely infect family members

    b) No amount of money will fully cure you.

Regarding Doxycycline, in case you get Lyme symptoms in the early stage, this information below could prevent the disease from becoming Chronic Lyme Disease:

    1) Aerobic exercise for 10 minutes, 30 minutes after taking Doxycycline, makes the meds up to 13X more powerful
per Will Wiemann Phd, in LymeNet Europe Netherlands, iirc

    2) Do not lie down for 15 minutes after taking Doxy..
per Will Wiemann Phd, in LymeNet Europe Netherlands, iirc

    3) Take it 2-3 hours after the last meal. Do not eat for at two hours after taking Doxycycline. -Product literature

    4) Doxycycline lowers your ATP molecules, so you will feel drained. You must nevertheless exercise. A microcurrents device/machine can raise your ATP.
    - from blog of former athlete who became house-bound from Lyme, and recovered
    - from microcurrents devices' information (I own several)

    5) Brand name Doxy is better than generic Doxycycline
    - from reading Lyme patient posts in forums

    6) Intravenous Doxycycline 400mg/one a day is more effective than any size of oral doses of Doxycycline.
    - Dr. Burrascano guidelines, in ILADS website

    7) A daily Doxycycline dose ~800+ mg/daily is necessary to kill Lyme. However, MD's are "forced" to give 200mg. daily doses, under present guidelines.
    - John Hopkins Lyme website
    - ILADS
    - Lyme patient, Lyme disease support forums

    8) The "standard" (i.e. semi-forced on doctors) 2-week Doxycycline regime is only roughly 45% effective in eliminating Lyme symptoms and preventing the disease from turning into Chronic Lyme Disease. A 4-week Doxycycline regime is ~70% effective. Simple math shows that 68 days is necessary for a 100% effectiveness, based on those two data points.
    - Dr. Burrascano's guideline, in ILADS website

OFF THE WALL INFO, IN RESPECT TO TREATING LYME/CO-INFECTION SYMPTOMS:

    (1) Just a few doses of Gum spirits of Turpentine will cure Lyme-type diseases, or their symptoms, including brain fog * Not the industrial turpentine!!

    ref:
    - Lyme forums
    - Amazon verified buyers feedback
    - made famous by Dr. Nathalie Daniels

    (2) An electronic device called "Ultimate Zapper" cured Indiana Jones actress Karen Allen, and 20 people that she lent her zapper to, from chronic Lyme. -YouTube interview.

    (3) The famous model Yolanda Hadid is self-experimenting with "fecal transplants" therapy, having travelled to many famous medical clinics around the world, to no avail, and her $200K was a waste, in respect to fully curing Chronic Lyme Disease.

Well, umm, Western MD's can not cure chronic Lyme. Or, perhaps, more accurately, doctors are 'not allowed' to cure chronic Lyme. ref: ILADS, Lyme forums.

Did you see the NY Post article on Yolanda Hadid's "poop" science for her Lyme?
