I have often wondered why there hasn't been a rally/run to Coongie Lakes. Who cares if there are no facilities. All the better I reckon.
Fires arent allowed for a starter..pretty sure.. RAMSAR..

Well that looks a little like a drying kiln for tobacco or chicory and since the hill behind is not on Phillip Island, I'll discard the chicory and suggest that the picture is in NE Victoria ; Myrtleford or Smoko or perhaps King Valley
Mind you , I could be completely wrong about the kiln

No, not a drying kiln.
I would suggest it would be central east rather than north east.
Very close to a river on a fairly well travelled route.
Beside Crooked river?
Very close but not quite.
I know I've seen it around there, Crooked, Wonnangatta or coming out of a crossing somewhere near there but memory eludes me. @Dr AT will probably know.
I'm sure I've seen it . Is it near Dargo.
I'd say you are probably on the money but you need to be a little more specific than that.
