We need more Google Maps links to locations named here in our threads & posts to make it more tour functional for all.

Way too often we only name a must stop place and then leave everyone else searching to find the exact spot.

We can do better than that!!!

It's not hard to do and now I use it everywhere, on forums, emails texts etc.

-Open Google Maps (app or website)
download app if you have a Apple phone.
-Click in on existing place place or create your own marker by holding down
    -select more info
    -select send to
    -copy to clipboard
-paste to anywhere you need, done

Post up your tools and how they work for a better ADV experience.

    On my Android phone, you:

Hold down the place on the screen,
    Tap "MORE INFO"
    Tap "SHARE"
    then Tap "COPY TO CLIPBOARD"

    On the computer,
Double Click on the spot on the map,
    Click on "SHARE"
Then you have the option of asking for a short URL instead of the long one, to copy and paste into ADVrider.

Good point Eakins, I'll have to see about adding some 'overview' maps to my reports. Seems obvious now that you mention it, but having this perspective would be useful for others for planning, etc.
