FUN course. It will start with this:

Quicker than opening the gate. Could be some laziness involved there also. :D

    Since you volunteered...
I think the height and angle should be about right if you hit it in third gear Steve. You should clear it fine. It should work. I'll record the video.
I will be in touch when I need a strong back.

Merry Christmas! Trials tire is an awesome snow tire.

Are you gonna try to ride this on trails or just for trials riding? My legs would get sore from standing all the time and there's no room for a dog on the back. :lol3

With a 1/2 gallon of fuel I wouldn't get very far trail riding. :D I will probably take it when we go camping to play on stuff close to camp.

I hope we did not scare you off and you will come out and ride with us again. You have good balance and can turn good and went over some good sized rocks. Were the sections we wanted you to try a bit more than you wanted to do or too much peer pressure? It has been so long since we have had <s>fresh blood</s> a new rider that we may have pushed you a bit too much. :doh

It is odd hearing a thumper in a sea of 2 strokes. :hide

No, you didn't scare me off. :D I have about 5 hours of experience on a modern trials bike now. I just need more hours to get familiar with it. Then I will be braver. I didn't feel pressured or pushed at all. Thanks for the invite and tips from everyone.

It is surprising how fuel efficient my Beta 200 is for trail riding. It is so easy to ride in any technical sections that it feels like cheating. Be careful of hitting your front brake lever on trailside brush. It is surprising how quickly you can get tossed out the front!

Enough to make for a good "technique" practice session. With the snow covered rocks you have to be right on your line and have near perfect technique to make even the smaller rocks. Makes you realize how much you count on traction and how much good technique helps you get up and over stuff with little to no traction. It was a good ride.

We've been out the last three weekends at Hemingway, and it has been perfect riding conditions.
