Since I need to go to Indiana to finish up some personal matters, I was thinking of leaving Saturday then catching the Sunday round on my way up. So the question is, who's going to be there? Whom should I look for, or more importantly, look out for? :D

I had high hopes of attending the family event leading up to nationals then staying to watch but life threw me a curve ball so I'll be missing both events this year. I hope you get to make it.

All is well, Norman. Thanks for the concern. Just too many irons in the fire. Seems to be a common theme among trials guys. Unless I can finish my list this weekend I won't be able to make the CVOTC event in VA next weekend either. I had planned on that being my daughter's first event on the Mecatecno. Sorry for the thread hijack. Back to TTC.

Not a hijack at all. You'll get things sorted as we all do, it's just one of the hazards of being an adult.

I signed up for Saturday & Sunday Eastern Rounds 1 & 2 at TTC in TN. Looks to be a lighter turnout from riders in the Northeast this year. Probably since Arkansas is a bit of a stretch for "Eastern" Region Nationals. Still keeping my options open for Rounds 3/4 in AR, but looking forward to Tennessee to see what's in store for Senior Clubman.

My hope is the section design of each eastern national will strike a reasonable balance between challenge and fun, as I am hoping to have a lot of fun!

I'm missing the Sipapu Ski Area event in NM to be able to do the eastern nationals for the first time.

Had an interesting conversation at my recent local event with one of my direct competitors who said he just landed a cherry 1988 TR33. If the ACM class ever filled out with a bunch of competitors, this ageing guy could definitely enjoy ACM again on the Fantic on the lowly Clubman line again. A 'good golf game' with friends can be a lot of fun.

Hoping my body can handle the Sportsman line with my fellow old farts in the eastern heat and humidity.

    We shall soon see!

Heat and humidity is like high altitude..... get there a day or two early and get used to it. Here in the Northeast we get the double whammy...... Hot and humid in the summer and sub-arctic in the winter. It's been low 90's and humid here.

I won't be able to make it because of work, but we're sending my son Cole out. He's flying out next Tuesday and with the Arkansas national, youth national and the training camp going on after he'll be gone for almost a month! Should be a great time for him. Although right now he's been kinda bummed because we already had to ship his bike out.

Good luck to those going and if you see a 14 year old on a Beta lost in the woods please point him back to the loop :ricky

Heard you have to reserve a spot for camping/trailer without hookups.

How the heck would those of us who have not been in a long time know?

The hookup sites are long gone. Ron Hensley was calling about something else and was told about the need to reserve. He set me up, so there will be (hopefully) side-by-side Casitas!

That place is f...ing treacherous when wet. Just like home and I don't ride here when it's wet. No wonder I suck in the wet.

IMG_20180607_174656640.jpg You guys are scaring me!

I'm here and no sign of the wet... yet.

NWS forecast on Friday is roughly +/- half chance of rain Saturday and especially Sunday, peaking on Monday. The alternate forecast is hot and muggy. With rain, less heat. With rain, evil black mud in the bottoms.

It's a long way to drive for slime, bike, and body abuse!

    Two very large fingers crossed!

At least I fit a spanking new Michelin X-Lite....

May the best man whine, um, win!
