There's always cabs and uber, I guess.
The progressive moto show is now Dec 8th-10th this year. Seems two months early.
Many of the late Jan. early Feb. events at Convention Center have been moved to earlier dates and I would suspect due to the Super Bowl being hosted in Mpls. Last time it was here there were related events at the CC.
Also, where would the exhibitors stay? There are no hotel rooms to be had at a reasonable price, I'd imagine.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be motorcycle-sick enough in December to pony up the cash to attend.
How is the salt situation outside of the city? There's no salt in Minneapolis right now, and feeling good about riding now that my sitch is back from repairs.
They wouldn't be able to afford to rent space at the convention center during the Superbowl while it's in town let alone room prices for vendors and even those who like to make a weekend out of it.
We are ten miles out from the stadium and I think rooms will be somewhere between $400-600 per night.
I'm trying to get a contingent for the Chicago show in Feb. Road trip!
Not too early for Brits pub though!
It's never too early for Brits! Well, 8am on a Tuesday, maybe, but that would be it.

That might be interesting. Just going on the weekend or taking any vacation?
Probably take at least friday or monday off, maybe both. A bunch of STL and CHI adv people go. I haven't really figured it out yet, but it seems like the right thing to do.
That really is a great show. Used to work it in the late 90s when I was volunteering with the AMA.
How is it different than the Twin Cities show? I assumed they were all the same since they are all produced by the same company, right?
I'm going to keep an eye on this. When is the show in Chicago?
Feb 9-11. Show is near O'Hare at a convention center. I'm thinking a couple of nights on the town, a day at the show in the middle, head back Sunday or something.
Close to three times the size. Bonus: El Famous Burrito roughly ten minutes out.
For some reason I really don't want to go the the MN show in December. Used to go for the free calendar. It really sucked this year. Fleet Farm calendar is much better, and free!
I will be there just to many of my friends coming in from out of town.
