I'll go get this one too, but on the ktm next time she's getting snippy.
You stay outta this D.J.!
Some pretty tough clues there...
I went to the shed to get the DRZ out this morning. Hit the switch and all I got was an "ER". Not even and "ER, ER". Just one "ER". I'll need to put a charge in it and hopefully log some miles over the weekend.
Battery tender. Habba frate. $5
Already have one. No power in the shed...yet.
Somebody go move that tag. I'm sidelined until Saturday.
Prolly gonna need a noo bat tree.
Dave cam help you he is schooled in battery tenders.

You'll need to go just a little farther...
Grab at Burke's Mill intersection.
Tag at the old familiar...
I wanted to go a little farther but the new (to me) aero suit was leaking bad on me and I couldn't see very far through the visor. Tillman for now...
Grab at Hearth stone lake dam...
Drop at ____ frog, ____ elk, _____moose, ___ shit, / gander _____, _____ climber, ____ man, blue ridge _____ road.
... not to be outdone!
And those clues, the first two words seem easy but then
Grabbed the tag on Bull Mountain Road.
Then dropped it here...
Came home this way...
Blowing down Tillman my throttle got real tight. Pulls hard and won't return on its own. I limped to two buddies houses at the end of Tillman. Neither one home. I rode it home slow (ish). Gonna disassemble until I find a cause.
Where is that road? The only Bull Mountain I could find is down near Meadows of Dan. I'm sure you didn't ride that far to get the tag!
If you inject some oil into the throttle twist housing and between the throttle tube in the handlebars, that will most likely free that up. While in there try to work some oil down the cables. You might want to try to not disassemble all that any more than necessary to get the oil in there. A large animal syringe with a blunted off needle works nicely.
Thanks George. I didn't know Bull Mountain either. I had to phone a friend. It's off of Stribling Springs Road south of Stokesville.
I fixt the throttle. Cable seemed to have jumped the track inside the housing on the handle bar. All is well. I put her to bed for the winter though. Pulled the battery and tank (ugh) and drained the carb. Petcock on the tank doesn't hold. I'll replace or repair it before returning to the bike in spring.
No doubt you know where the tag is now. Go get it. I'm sidelined again.
Thanks Dave. I'm too wimpy to go riding in this weather. But i can cheer you on from beside the woodstove. Glad you're getting it sorted. Would enjoy going for a ride with you this spring, Lord permitting.
DAAAAAAANG!!! Y'all are crushing it!!
