Bike is looking awesome mate
I can't believe how good these new 500's are, handle great, it nearly threw me off the back going up one of the hills as I got a bit carried away over the erosion mounds (my ambition outweighed my talent), power and torque to spare.
Gotta watch that front brake with the larger disc on though it's a bit savage...
You’ll get better mate. Practice makes perfect.
So much want...
@Dukehunt, plz let me know if you ever decide to sell this horrible contraption
Any indication of likely fuel range from the 17lt tank?
@Out6ack , haven't had the opportunity to test the fuel range yet, but I'll post up as soon as I have.
Sell it, not just yet, need to get some riding in first....
With Bruce riding it, about 725 k’s
It would be about 250-300klms.
Yeah I think Geoff is getting over 200 out of his EXC500 with a 15l tank, might have been 220+. As we know, he is a big boy who doesn't spare the horses either.
Well I'm a light weight with a limp wrist so you could probably count on 300k's
Um, about that Husky, it’s looking too good in here Bruce!
I really did want a 570 but I couldn't pass this one up for the price....it turned out pretty well too with very little money spent.
The rider now just needs to lift his game..
Maybe we need to change the thread to Big Euro Thumpers for the High Country Over 500cc
I reckon one of those Huskies would be pretty quick through the trails.
Think of all the young fellas we could round up Al?
I’ll never forget that mate. Shame we didn’t have a camera on. Classic.
I'm looking forward to watching you two carve up the younguns...show them and me a thing or two
Us hipsters have to just hang around the rear now.
For a little while anyway.
Just think that they are Rossi and you both are MM.
Mod for easy TPS adjustment.
Can you hook it up to pick up Foxtel too
