Thanks, Old Mule. All those years ago I had no idea the clocks and forks weren't stock. I knew the mufflers were aftermarket, and it ran nicely without too much noise. A very satisfying motorcycle with excellent power characteristics, supple forks and sweet handling manners.
Youth and nice motorcycles are wasted on the young...
There are some talented people out there doing some tasty work.

Probably could have come up with a better solution than duct tape for the tank strap though.
