For now our solution is to use waterproof case which special design for our device; and our machine use temperature is -10°C ~ +65°C.
And our new design for waterproof main unit will come out around July of this year.

Hi, the M6L rear camera is with OV9712 sensor which we made wrong description of rear OV2710 in the AMAZON photo. It's now corrected.
And you can actually try being in ziplock bag, our M series products are good performance for overheat problem(new processor Mstar). But suggest don't seal the bag up completely.

Sorry I know it's been a while. But haven't installed it. I did test it.( Comes with usb lead for testing).seems decently made and sorted piece of kit. Works on test.however the instructions are crap. The quick start page. Is mostly self explanatory. But after that . You're on your own. There's really no instructions on how to turn it on.( Luckily it's only one button). Does it record in the set increments as soon as it's turn on. Do I format card first( I assume so) what is gst. If it's what I guess is the shock sensor setting. Is 4 the most sensitive.. the official website doesn't have much answers either.. I've been working a lot so I kinda forgot about it. I need a day off to get to all the farkles I need to install.

Also.im . A little Confused . The instructions says. The DVR. Will burn out. If input is over 5 volts. Does this mean I must use the smart power module.. I wanted to use it without.it.is there a normal power module I need

Actually you can find answer from the product description. We are improving the instruction.
    Answer for your question:
    1) The DVR will automatically start on/stop along with your bike, no need extra pressing any button.
    2) It will format the micro SD card automatically when you insert the card.
    3) Level 4 is the most sensitive for G-sensor level.
    4) The difference between normal Power cable and smart Power cable is the connection way. For normal power cable there are 3 connections, you need connect them to battery +, -, and ACC wire. The DVR will start/stop by detecting the ignition on/off.
For smart power cable, there are only 2 connections for battery +, -. The DVR will start/stop by detecting the bike voltage change and continuous vibration. We always recommend the smart power cable to our customer, it’s accurate and no-hurt connection.

And it will burn out if the voltage over 5V, unless you can supply continuous steady 5V/2A(in-put) power.
Connect us if you still need normal power cable.

No pre-recording support for M6L, is it only for M2F? Can this function be added with SW update?
I just ordered M6L with a remote, but I'm not gonna bother installing the remote if this function is not supported.

Hi, there's no pre-recording support for M6L and there won't be any update for it. We suggest you can install the remote, which it can help you to know the machine status or activate the manual emergency mode.

Can I still use smart sensor. With my aux accessories fuse box. It cut power to my devices with ignition off. But it's a two wire system. I don't want to splice. A third wire for the normal power cable

Hi, you have to conntact the power cable to battetery directly; or you can order a normal power cable with 3 wires connection separately https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DC1C54M

I've been using V-Sys systems on my bike for a couple of years now and have always been impressed. The latest (M2F) is excellent and the addition of the waterproof housing is great. Mine is connected through a Power Commander box on the bike which means it is switched on and off automatically with the ignition key. The only additional requirement I would request would be the ability to set a default view on the monitor. At the moment the monitor displays a split screen showing part of both the front and rear camera output. This can be changed by taking the DVR out of it's housing and using the hard buttons and menu system to change the view but after a few moments, it always flips back to the default view. Other than identifying that both cameras are working this isn't much use. What I would like to be able to do is set the rear camera only to be the default view and for this setting to be persistent. This would enable me to use the camera as a rear view mirror. This would be a great additional safety device.
Would also like a lockable waterproof housing option.

The main purpose of a dash cam is to record video continuously to be used in case of incidents, road rage etc ... If you want nice high quality videos go get a sport cam ...
On a motorcycle we are completely exposed to weather, so I don't understand why the main unit is not waterproof ?
Also why bother with a LCD screen on the main unit as now Wifi is easily built in the units and we can watch the recording directly on our smartphones. Removing the LCD screen will make the unit cheaper, smaller, more solid and easier to waterproof.
With the unit hardwired, the power box should protect the unit from draining the motorcycle battery. Parking mode can be implemented without worrying about flat batteries. When turning off the ignition the Powerbox can activate the Parking mode. Also the G-Sensor and some timers can also activate the Parking mode.

In conclusion the ideal motorcycle dash cam would be:
    - Main Unit : Wifi, Waterproof , No LCD Screen , Wifi On/Off button
    - Camera: Front, Rear and Waterproofed
    - Parking Mode: G-Sensor activated or Powerbox Activated
    - Endless Loop recording and locking recording when G-Sensor is activated
    - GPS as optional
    - Remote as optional (to activate the wifi, but wifi button can be directly on the main unit)
