    Hi There,

we are going to Anchorage Airport on the 19th May, and have two Motorbike Crates. They have been built once to ship the GS1200 around (and no, we are a Honda couple! Now there is one Africa Twin and one Transalp in there) so they are kind of big, Solid Steel frame covered with wood. I guess we take the bikes out of customs on Monday the 21st May.

    (Picture of the Frames attached)

Anyone interested to get them? If so, you would have to pick them up on the 21st. I think they will not store them free of charge. If nobody interested I will just leave them there…

And we are looking for a place to stay from the 19th till around 22nd, we know about the Harley place but don’t know yet if we put the camping gear in the crates because we do not have much luggage allowance (cheap flight ;). Any ideas where to stay (and get over the jetlag the first two days)?

    Cheers Kerstin and Sascha

Alaska European Bed and Breakfast. Owned by a Danish lady. Call now as her rates don’t change for the summer. It is around 80 bucks a night and breakfast is amazing. She speaks German. Partly why my wife loves to stay there.

No problem, as of now it looks liek that everything will be on time [touchWood, three times], so the pickup date would be before noon on the 21th May... I keep you updated guys... (be aware that things are kind of massive, I tried to load them into my station wageon and failed... (all guys at the BMW dealership had a good lough while watching me... (but eventually helped me after 40min... gave me a big van and transported it to my home...)
