I brought this home today after parting with my 15GSA a few months back. This is my third 05 year 1200GS purchased from original owner with 55k on it. So now what color to choose not a fan of yellow!
This will parked next to the 1200ST, Boxercup , R1200S till I decide which one goes!

@Red Card came by tonight and helped me re-tap one well-cross-threaded frame hole. He was able to get all 4 new OEM bolts in by hand but we didn't tighten them down as they'll need to come back out for the AltRider brackets, crash bar, skid plate so for now, the bike is in a better place.

I removed the pillion pegs + rear luggage rack and exhaust headers. Bike is as naked as a GSA can be while still being functionally ridden. Looking forward to a grey / black powder coated GS Quadruple-Black™ I know a lot of people like the silver highlights but I asked for a black bike and damnit, I'm going to get it.. the only impossible thing to color will be the silver spokes as that requires taking all of the spokes out or so I heard. Might not make the cut this time around. and the Telelever and handlebar are also silver. sigh. Baby steps. if I ever swap the suspension, I guess the televlever can get the powder coat treatment as well.

Also, the special tool for taking off my front wheel arrived:

Looking forward to mounting & balancing TKC80s at home. I have all of the necessary tools now to DIY.

That is a Marc Parnes tool. Nice.

BTW, they make black spoke covers that fit the GSAw.
