I'd be pissed not getting one too after reading this. Been using the fatty gt216 with no damage, it has a heavy spring with RG3 internals.
Fuddy I meet a guy in Nevada whos looking at selling his se if you get a radiator.

Thanks, but I’m well past the point of no return with the SE. I’ll just sit on my porch with some of Tennessee’s finest liquid and live vicariously through you all.

Yes I was lucky the NZ RG3 suspension installer had an SE and tried 19 different setting to get it right and did mine twice, now it dancers over whatever I put it through with a few clicker adjustments for different terrain. It was a year ago today I left for my trip in the US, how time flys.

Put me down for one also, thanks Ken.

Am still keen on your suspension upgrade, by the way.
    Not just yet though.

Am currently giving mine a bit of a overhaul, radiator mount rubbers, hoses ,pump, etc. Am looking at trying to pivot the bottom of the radiator back a little. In a bit to gain some “clearance” from the tyre, as I have front tyre clash issues on compression as well.
Maybe Tripleclamp can take up this project and nock us up a little bracket for the bottom mount,to swing it back the 8mm or so ,that I think is possible.

There's not much clearance down there to move things back but starting end of next week, we will be designing a radiator guard / frame for the SE and one of the goals is to also look at providing more radiator / tire clearance. Assuming that Ken's replacement radiator will be dimensionally the same as stock, we will all be covered; replacement radiator, radiator guard and tire clearance.

    Now for my oil cooler...:)

    Ok, cool .
While I’ve got my wish list out , any chance of a “glove box” storage box for the space where the regulator used to live , in front of the battery .

You know...I've looked at that area and wondered the same thing but I'm not sure what I'd put in there given the decent space under the seat already...spare spark plugs? Small sausages? It gets hot there (as we know) so I think it would be somewhat limiting.

My thoughts as well but was thinking ,
a.line the outside with some insulation and put tool roll .
b.double skin enclosure with air gap ( getting heavy)
c.spare oil container with recessed snap on hose fitting for topping up for long trips when I usually carry a litre.
    d. extra oil capacity plumbed into oil cooler :)

Are we thinking about the same space because mine doesn't have that much room...as for extra oil, does anyone really believe these engines need more capacity? They're 3.6 litre's as is and a cooler would add a bit as well...

I’m about to resurrect my efforts on this...just need to get the air filter system into production first...couple of weeks and I’ll be able to focus on a replacement solution.
