216 pages in, looks to me that owning a Ural is like dating a bipolar stripper. '

sounds like my kinda adventure, really. Where do I get one?

Since I live in western Washington it's disappointing to think my likely dealer may be misrepresenting his product.

They're very specific in the owners manual, https://www.imz-ural.com/owners-manuals/
Rider no passenger or payload, 65-70 mph
Rider and passenger no payload, 60-65 mph
Rider passenger and payload up to GVW, 50-60 mph

It goes on further recommending a max of 70 mph only depending on several defined conditions.
It also states that off road riding will require additional maintenance and repairs.

I loved my Ural (well NEVAL) but same thing. The side car was a total blast but the amount of work to keep things moving is HUGE and probably not worth it but as I only paid £400 for it, it was worth it. A mate has it now and he's always working on it.
I deff would not buy a new one or pay the daft prices some are asking and no one would EVER get 75mph outta one
Still, I love to seem em out and about
