Heard stories a fella can ride for hundreds of miles across the great State of Wyoming on some great two track. Anyone with routes they'd like to share?

You’ve heard correctly, lots of two track in Wyoming, mostly in the Eastern and Southern parts of the state. Also, lots of FS rd., Jeep trails and single track. But, apparently, not many people who want to share their routes. Personally, I like FS roads and single track. Grey’s River road between La Barge and Alpine and Union Pass are two of the premier rides I have done. There are some other inmates here who have intimate knowledge of the Medicine Bow Mts. and the Bighorn Mts. but, I’ve yet to ride there.
    Good Luck,
    Ed.

I"ll look into those appreciate it! It's all good I get it no one wants the herds of people to flock to their area. I cringe everytime someone metions Montana (my home state) for that very reason. Growing tired of all the people and lack of open country along the Colorado Front Range is all.

I usually just take a map and go. I am not much of a track guy, but I did Baggs to Evanston Last yr. I have that track on the GPS Still, Then up to Pinedale I just followed the Gazetteer Map and map a route. Pinedale back to Baggs I have a track also through the red desert. Adobe Town area is awesome. Snowy Range and Sierra Madres have lots of loops also.
Come to join the Dino Ride next spring, NW Colo, Some WY and Some Utah

The CDR route across Wyoming is awesome! Some areas so wide open you feel like the only person on the planet!

Yeah you can if you don't get heckled by some ass fuck rancher that put "PRIVATE PROPERTY" signs on all the gates going into BLM land :)

Its surprising .... for how much public land there is out here how much of it you "can't" access.

Just get a Butler map and focus on the "4WD" roads. That is what I did when I planned my trip around the entire circumference of the state by dirt roads a few years ago.

If you give me an idea of what you want I can lay one out for you in Google Earth. Most of what I have done in WY is traced out on Gazetteer pages. They all start between the "3 Corners Monuments and Encampment/Riverside.

Thayne and Pinedale are the farthest North mine go.

Ordered the Wyoming Butler Map can't wait to check it out. Looking for primitive dirt roads 2 track ranch road type. That I can ride legally. I'll be on my AT so big bike friendly ,but little more challenging than a graded gravel road. Longer the better. Yeah send me a track if you have time I'd definitely appreciate it. Hell it might even earn you a beer or two.

Double check routes listed on the butler maps. Several years ago I bought one and a road they had listed that goes by my house is a private road. I notified them of it, they didn't seem very concerned, but hopefully they updated it for the next publishing.

My favorite is from Maybell Colo to Powder Wash CO, then Adobe Town to I80, Wamsutter to South Pass Then Pinedale, up to the Bondourant to my Dad's cabin. Then over to Thayne to my Aunts, Big Piney to Rock Springs, Browns Paek and back to Craig
