Indian Motorcycle has recalled certain 2014 Chief and Chieftan motorcycles.  The problem stems from the bikes Vehicle Control Module (VCM).  On certain models, the VCM may malfunction and all of the front lights, including the headlight, may go out while riding.

Unfortunately, the remedy for this recall has not yet been developed.  This recall merely makes owners aware of the defect.  Indian will contact all owners in June to make them aware of the recall.   They will then contact owners a second time when the remedy to the defect becomes available.
