Our new best friends from Moto.it have been providing us with videos from INTERMOT all day Tuesday. They’ve shown us the new BMW R 1250 GS and also the new R 1250 RT.
And now they’re delivering on the brand new, designed-from-the-ground-up Moto Guzzi V85 TT. This is Guzzi’s new venture in the Adventure bike world, after abandoning the Stelvio as being too expensive to upgrade to the Euro 4 emissions regulations. As with the BMWs, the big deal here is that Guzzi has built a new engine that will be the foundation of a new line of bikes.
The 850cc, air-cooled, transverse v-twin features a lighter crank, bigger fuel intakes, bigger valves, and pistons with shorter skirts — and crucially, better emissions.
