All 2018 Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX have been recalled in Europe.  According to the European Unions’ Rapid Alert System for Dangerous Non-food Products (RAPEX), Kawasaki’s speedy Ninja H2 SX may have a problem with its center stand.

The Kawasaki H2 SX center stand may drop while the bike is being ridden.

Citing issue as a serious risk, RAPEX issued the recall advisory under alert number A12/1787/18.  T

The main stand may flip open during travel because of an error in the safeguard
mechanism manufacturing process.

This could lead to an increased risk of accidents.

All 2018 model year bikes are affected.  Owners of affected machines will be contacted by Kawasaki.  Kawasaki dealers will repair or replace the center stand free of charge.  For more information, you can find the recall on the RAPEX website.

The US’s NHTSA vehicle recall website does not presently show the bike under recall.  As such, for the time being it is unclear whether US specification models are subject to the same problem.
