Want to test-ride KTM’s latest and greatest? If you’re in the US, you can get your chance with the Ride Orange demo tour, which kicks off this weekend.

When it starts, KTM will have most of its adventure bikes on the demo tour, including theĀ 1090 Adventure R, 1290 Adventure R and 1290 Adventure S, but no 790 Adventure or 790 Adventure R. Those machines are supposed to be included on the tour sometime in the spring, probably around April or May. We also haven’t seen a mention of the updated 690 Enduro or 690 SMC R supermoto; it’s possible the 690 Enduro is on KTM’s off-road demo tour (which also kicks off this weekend, in Florida). KTM does say it will have several street-only Duke models on the road tour as well, including some 390 models.

Along with a chance to ride KTM’s 2019 US lineup, the demo tour also allows riders to receive a $500 voucher towards purchasing a full-sized KTM motorcycle (125 cc or larger); the voucher can also be used for KTM PowerParts, PowerWear or SpareParts items.

KTM does have a few rules, including age restrictions. Riders must be 21, or older, to ride the 390 lineup. If you’re aged 21-24, you can only ride the 390s; if you’re 25 or older, you can ride the 690 lineup, or bigger bikes like the 1290 lineup. KTM also says “Experienced riders only (no beginners).

This weekend’s street demos run at KTM North America’s headquarters in Murrieta, California. The demo ride truck will be traveling around Cali for the next few weeks, then headed off to Texas, then Georgia. It’ll be at major US motorcycling events this year, like the Austin GP round, and Americade, and ends the season in October at Barber Motorsports Park. Over the summer, it’ll be in most regions of the US, so if you’re anxious to try the new machines out, you should get an opportunity sometime. See the full demo schedule for both street and enduro bikes here.
