These weeks featured photo (above) is a frozen self-portrait that was taken by @windblown101 last month. He writes …

Photo taken along Hwy 150 near Bald Mountain Pass in Uinta Mountain range of Utah. I was taken a bit by surprise to run into such cold weather in mid-September in Utah. Was a long chilly wet ride with lots of time spent scraping ice build up from the visor. All part of the fun during my ride around the USA.

@SHIfTHEAD sent this stunning landscape photo  …

June of this year, riding south from Fairbanks, Alaska I stopped on the Alcan highway and got this shot. Because of the fires, the sunsets were especially dramatic.

Taken on a Nikon D7100, Rokinon 12mm lense, all settings other settings were auto since it was a handheld shot.

@gunnerbuck sent us this photo taken earlier this year British Columbia’s Coast Mountain Range. He writes …

In this picture we are on the interior side of the British Columbia Coast Mountain Range near the town of Lillooet.. From leaving our campsite a couple hrs earlier we have had an elevation gain of over 8000′ to arrive at the final hike to the summit.. The trail up is very rough and steep littered with boulder scree, we lost one bike on the way up do to clutch failure… This was the most difficult riding day on our trip, but also the most scenic..

Some days are just about enjoying the stuff that’s close to home. 10 minutes of Jeep track out the backyard and up above the city after work.

@HairLipDog sent us this sepia photo at the recent Alpine Rendevous At The 3 Step Hideaway. He writes ..

3 Step Hideaway! My second trip there was in April 2019 after visiting Moab’s wonderful scenery with my wife in our Jeep. We returned there for the Alpine Rendezvous last week (Sept 24th-26th 2019). Along with the event Scott and Julie hosted was an award to BigDog Mark Sampson for inspiring so many people to ride. I rode only one day while I was there but met many other riders that I have read their posts on ADV. It truly is an amazing place.

@Vern main man sent us a very funky photo taken a couple of weeks ago of his friends during a ride. He writes …

Stopped on Highway 389 north of Baie Comeau, Quebec on route to Labrador City, Newfoundland. This section of gravel is on the west side of the TransLabrador Highway. Smooth and fast.

@computer_freak took this photo of his 2008 BMW G650GS during a trip in Turkey. He writes …

My entrance into adventure riding was a 2008 BMW G650GS Police that I got from a government auction. Panniers, tires and a GPS were all the modifications I did to it and I took it on some nice trips spanning multiple continents. Pictured is a rough track in Turkey where I was pushing the limits of the bike. After 80.000 kilometers of police duty and adventure riding the bike is now retired and only used for light day trips.
