You’ve read lots of reviews by journos telling you about the likes and dislikes of various bikes. By their nature, ride reviews are personal and may reflect the journo’s preferences. So we decided it was about time to ask you about how certain motorcycles perform in certain categories. So we’ve designed our first Reader Shootout.
For our first Reader Shootout, we are going to ask you to rate what you like and don’t like. You will have several specific areas to be rated. For each of these areas, you will be asked to provide a rating between 1 and 5. One (1) means poor while five (5) means excellent.
Pick one motorcycle and rate each of the areas mentioned. The quiz will then ask you questions specific to the machine you chose. The questions are identical for both machines.
You don’t have to rate both bikes. You can review one or both, but you can only review one at a time. Remember, we’re aggregating everyone’s responses so we only need you to rate one machine. Take the time to think about your riding impressions as well as the bike’s specs.
When you give us enough responses for a decent size sample, we will summarize the results in a follow-up article. Good luck and let us know what you think of the concept in the comments below. If you like the idea, also tell us which bikes you’d like to see compared in the future.
