This is great, do you happen to know if the same spokes can be used or different length is needed?

I send them a hub that I bought on eBay for the F 800 and they super laced it and use the rim Italian rim I don’t remember the name.
I would just let them use whatever they think is best so we can go smooth with the Rim in a tight tubeless fit

    Hi Woody.

I’m needing to change out the rim on a 500EXC with a 990 cush hub. It was already on the bike when I purchased it so I don’t have any info on how the original was built. From what I’ve gathered the 990 has euro lacing, while the OEM rim on the 500 would be Japanese. I compared the lacing on this wheel to my 990 and they appear identical. With reusing the stock 500 rim, it would lead me to believe that they must have had it re drilled to accept the euro pattern or is it possible to use the rim without re drilling? The lacing on the rotor side looks fine, but you can see that the spokes are bent a bit on the sprocket side near the top of the nipples. I’m assuming this is an indication that it was not drilled or not done correctly. Long story short, could you quote me a 18x2.15 black excel rim and spokes for this setup.
    Thanks, Chris

    Hi Woody,
can you maybe tell me what kind of rim this is:?
The following is stamped on it:
    DID Japan 86--11 08-- 21x2.15 11 15 DOT

I'm trying to find some paperwork for this rim, like a strengh certificate approval references.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

Could we do a ride out and switch rims in lot to new wheels tires and leave old to be rebuilt? Thinking September 2022. Yamaha wr250r strongest wheels and cush drive rim build. Any inmate discount?

I am thinking about getting a 17" rear and 19" front wheel set for my 2010 Husaberg FE 390 for dual sport/adventure touring. Wondering if the KTM 390 Adventure spoked wheel set would fit or the cost to have a set made. Any insight would be great. Thanks.

I saw on Instagram Lyndon Poskitt posted that Woody has passed away.

What a loss and so sad to hear the legend of all Wheel builders has left us.

My condolences to the family and all the team there in the shop. He will be missed big time.

    Aaawwwwww, damn.
A loss indeed, many wild-haired crazy wheel-benders and other trail riders and wannabes as well as us normal folk will miss him, to be sure.
