01.jpg 02.jpg 05.jpg IMG_4625.jpg Italian and Chinese mix breed I dont know how would they fair. But out here, there are some interesting model they have lined up, and they seem to be doing good. Ofcourse the addition is being Chinese its not that expensive, Check this link : http://www.dskbenelli.com/

The TRK502 was showcased in the Auto Expo 2016 here in India. The bike looks promising and good, but the only negative point is that so far no preictions or media launch of this machine.

I am sharing some pics and the spec sheet of this bike.

Hmmmmmmmmm looks good but ballpark $15,000 is steep for me.

32in saddle, a little tall for me

    5,2 gl tank OK

    470lb un loaded...still a little heavy

basicly a DL650A with over 20hp less for twice the money.

But I think it's got the biggest beak of all of them. Does Beak = Penis size?

Just curious, where did you see the price around $15,000? I've been watching info. on this bike for about a year now and all I've heard is somewhere around $5,000 to $7,000 US. Not saying your wrong but I don't think they'll be selling many/any for $15,000. Even if the production model comes with those fancy Brembo calipers and Galfer wave discs. Still, looking forward to seeing one in person. At 6'3" I'd like a nice smaller commuter bike for my frame (aside from a Vstrom or versys).

It's looking like they are expected to be Rs 6.5 , my best Google is 14k throw taxes and fees on that and you have a ballpark 15k.

15k Does not make any sense
India is saying 5 Lack = around 7000€ (Benelli as a 600cc for that price on their current line up)

As per the Indian market and the rumors the expected price for this bike is around 5.5Lacs , which is equivalent to
    USD - $8107.00 (approx.)
    UK - 6544.00£ (approx.)
    Euro - 7763.00€ (approx.)

Apart from some reviews in Thailand, I haven't seen any major motorcycle community review this machine.

that sounds a bit better, the only place I saw a price was the first link.

Rs 6-6.5 Lakh and that is what I was using for my post.

I am waiting for official announcement from the company, they are still lying silent when it comes to this bike.

I see a different conversion chart as well, the one I used first said 6.5lukh was $14,000

the last one I found says 1 lukh = $1,483.00 and that is what you said...

boy you can't believe anything you read on the internet.. :jack

Alright I am sorry about the conversation rate, I just used the currency converter and then informed over here.

Now about the machine, this may be old but still gives the idea about the machine, the price tag out there is in INR and it is a projected price tag, nothing official about it so don't get confused there.

It's a very solid attempt, but $15K is not going to fly.
Is that a 19" wheel on the top pics?

It's what people have been asking for 500cc parallel twin in an ADV package, but it's a porker for the motor size and needs a nose job.
I would not kick her out of bed however.
Same weight and say 700cc motor and mmmmmm.

Like I've said, the Chinese are going to build what the Japanese have not.
    We are getting closer folks.

I know it's Chinese owned, but is Benelli being designed in Europe/Italy?
The Euro (Italian) designed (& quality controlled) with Chinese built machines look to be the ones that move this concept forward at the moment.

    8K is more like it.
It's up against the Super Dual at this point in that range.

It's been making the rounds for a while now. I was hoping that the initial info was wrong, because it's too big and too heavy to have any real advantages over existing one-size-larger options or the smaller and lighter competition as an adventure bike and maybe even as a mostly street bike. And it has that hideous beak. :puke2

Designed and built by QianJiang in Taizhou, China, the owners of Benelli. The aesthetics are a copy of the BMW 1200GS.
There's a thread with more info on mychinamoto.com (MC). Even more discussion can be found on the Chinese based motorcycle forums, however one needs to be able to read simplified Chinese.
QianJiang Benelli 600cc models have been a bit hit-and-miss when it comes to build quality and reliability, as can be judged by reading the various motorcycle forums (especially the Chinese moto forums).
Beta testers beware. Pick your poison carefully from the QianJiang Benelli aisle IMO.
    YMMV
