Hi, Those are notes that are close to each other. You can read more about the highlighting by following the links on this page: https://www.rallynavigator.com/fim_fia_roadbook_specification_cross_country Dave
Something is very wrogn with saving... Tried everything, but still the saving function stops working at some point.. I'm seeing that programm is autosaving (red text), but if i close the roadbook and come back, nothings is saved Restarted computer, reset Google chrome, cleared the cache etc. Tried at home and at work. Tried with MS explorer, Edge. Nothing is changing! Am i the only one with that king of problem?
Hi folks, Looks like one of our remote devs made some changes without a code review. I just rolled the site back the the stable version. No more changes coming until we release a completely new version which fixes these "growing pains" once and for all. Thanks for the patience. Dave
We have experienced this same problem again. We are on a deadline and are afraid we’ll lose the files we have already created.
Hi, @Flameout Automotive , please send me a PM with your roadbook URL (the 6 digit number is the route ID). I will take a look. Dave
That's it. Not sure why Chrome keeps logging me out, even though I have the stay logged in option selected. Thanks again, Dan
I think this may have been posted (somewhere in the rally tragic threads) somewhere before here at ADVRider... but I just caught it again when it popped up on my youtube feed, and I think it illustrates nicely the onboard art of basic roadbook nav (trip meter and tulip notes) - so I thought it apt to put it here again - for those that may not have seen it before...
@ffernandez333 we’re working on that in our next version. A short-term workaround is to highlight the text in the PDF software. Dave.
It’s been a while...can you PM me too? Love the Rally Nav software....want to make this into wall art.
Greetings. I think that has been discussed, but not sure. I do not use RN for Rally creation. I find it is the easiest route tool to use for planning my multi day, long distance Adventure rides. I create the route, and then export the GPX file, then use Basecamp for any tweaks I need for the track, and waypoint manipulation. Generally, I only use Waypoints when I need to mark destinations or route features that I need to be aware of. I also use them to measure distance, and plan for fuel stops. Is there a way for the short comments I place in the waypoint to be extracted in the GPX file?
Can anyone tell me where to find a FAQ-section? I am looking to change the 'www.rallynavigator.com' header and the 'WARNING!!!' footer. Where can I do this?
Hi - Check these links for "How it Works" content: https://www.rallynavigator.com/how_to_create_cross_country If you want to change header and footer content on the Roadbook - I suggest a PDF editor such as NitroPDF
Hi there, have a little problem with an Rally Roadbook Reader. I installed this app on Android phone, login with same account as created on Rally Navigator web page. Successfully open a roadbook created by Rally Navigator. Today I tested it in the field, and app 3 times just reset itself. By reset I mean: - zero odometer - roadbook scrolled to the top First time it was at the begining of the track, I simply set the odometer to right number and scroll roadbook to required line Second time I've done the same but distance was longer so it took three times more time Third time it happened I was about 70km from the begining, I gave up So there are the questions: 1. Is that common behavior of the app on Android phone ? 2. Is there another way of increase km on odometer than press&hold upper section of it?
Hi, I've been playing with the Track Tools and have figured out how split and join tracks. I've been able to add a track to the end of the original track without issues, but how do I add as segment before the start of the main track, essentially creating a new start point. The software does not seem to allow this.
