2020 is a weird year for motorcycle events, and with so many rallies, meets, and rides canceled or postponed, where’s an adventure rider to go? It seems that Touratech Dirt Daze, and annual adventure motorcycle event, is still going to happen this year, and it might be the perfect event to attend if you’re starved for a good ride out.
Touratech Dirt Daze promises lots of riding, training, factory demos and expo, an obstacle course for the brave-hearted, an ADV moto movie night, and much more. Here’s what the organization had to say:
“Touratech and the producers of the DirtDAZE Adventure Rally teamed up to knock the panniers off of the adventure motorcycle community, creating the Touratech DirtDAZE Rally. It’s a fun, adventurous and educational multi-day festival for dual-sport and adventure motorcycles held on the border of VT and NH at the North Haverhill Fairgrounds, August 20-23, 2020.
Adventure motorcycle enthusiasts should expect the best of all worlds at the Touratech DirtDAZE Rally: Amazing rides for all skill levels through breathtaking landscapes on dirt, gravel and pavement, incredible presentations, onsite education and challenges, world-class rider training, moto-vendors, outdoor fun and the great amenities available at the venue. And, the event will likely host the most adventure bike demos in the entire United States.
Previously, DirtDAZE took place in the Adirondack Mountains, and had grown to be the biggest ADV event in the northeast. And, Touratech’s Rally East took place in Central PA in August, growing in popularity every year. Each of these events continued to grow and now, by combining the best elements of each riders from the eastern region will be treated to the biggest and best ADV motorcycle riding experience in the Eastern USA.”
The organization promises it’s taking the COVID-19 situation seriously but believes the outdoor nature of the event is a big factor in going ahead with the rally.
