If you’re looking to buy a new-for-2022 Triumph motorcycle, but you want to see the bike before you pay a deposit, good news: Triumph is taking its machines on tour again, with the Sneak Peek Tour returning for 2022.
Triumph has done this sort of thing in previous years, and many of Triumph’s bikes have already been on display at the 2021 IMS Outdoors show circuit. However, this will be your first chance (and only chance, for a while) to see a couple of new bikes, including the Tiger Sport 660 “adventure sports” bike:
The all-new Speed Triple 1200 RR and Tiger Sport 660 have been revealed and the Sneak Peek Tour is your exclusive opportunity for a firsthand look before they arrive in dealerships next year. These bikes are currently the only units anywhere outside of Europe and will make stops at select dealership showrooms across the USA and Canada.
So, except for Internet photos, this is your only chance to ogle these machines until they show up at dealerships. And, given the quick-selling scene at dealers these days, and general supply chain issues, if you’re waiting until then, it might be too late.
Where to see the bikes?
Triumph’s posted a list of appearances for the bikes here. Note that there’s both Canadian and American visit dates, and at this point, all the visits seem to be planned at dealerships. With IMS Outdoors wrapping up with the SoCal show, the US show circuit is slowing down now, and it seems Triumph isn’t taking these on Canada’s MCC show circuit. Note also that Triumph says “Dates and locations are subject to change without notice, please check back often for updates.“
