    @DockingPilot: Love those photos. :getiton

Not stock, lowered 2" internally, forks slipped up an inch and rear linkage set to full short. All work, including damping, done by local race shop. I felt it did well enough considering the shortened travel and weight of the bike (362 pounds with all my day gear and a full 4.7 IMS)

After using my IMS 3.1 gallon tank for two years I noticed the radiator inlet nozzle was contacting the tank. I posted this a couple of weeks ago.

Some time after posting my concern I realized that my Acerbis gas cap was allowing the gas tank to be pressurized which probably caused the tank to grow a bit (to the point that the tank contacted the radiator nozzle). The Acerbis gas cap has a built-in pressure/vacuum relief valve so it doesn't breathe as much as a typical cap (same kind of idea as the cap on a car gas tank).

I've switched back to the stock gas cap which means I'm bathed in gasoline vapours on a warm day.

Got this in the mail yesterday, figured it would be good Form to install it and give it a bit of a test. Reads around 80 after a nice 20km ride in around 6° Celsius. Will keep an eye on it for the next little bit as the temp rises. Fun little farkle to look at.

If you have the vent hose routed right you shouldn't smell gas at all because I never do.

Really want a tank bag for quick access stuff and I miss having one. Sitting forward on my bike like for gravel, there's about 5", maybe 6" of free room from the fuel cap to my testies.

Wolfman tank bag, the little one, says it's 9" long. Does this actually fit with the stock tank? I also have a zeta vented cap as I had a California model and took out the charcoal canister.

Giant loop Buckin roll. The system is modular, you can use all 3 bags if you want but I found the tank bag got in the way. I just run the side bags.

Ditto. I got the giant loop diablo (tank bag - small - 4or 5 liters. I used it once and got rid of it. Swapped out for the mojavi side bags (12 liters -6 each). Good so far and they take a beating. The tank bag, what I'm used to, was just too crowded for any type of technical body positioning. It may be fine for others but I didn't like having one.

The Buckin Roll is still a front bag, which is nice on longer rides because I can put my phone in there to charge from the handlebar power outlet. I can also store snacks and maps in there.

It takes a bit of fussing to get the side bags positioned high on the side shrouds.

I stole this pic from the Internet, I eliminated the top bag because it interfered in riding single track.

I had bought one of those Diablo bags for my wife, we would be riding and I noticed when she was standing in rough sections of train, it looked like an odd position. I would tell her to get more forward, she would say she was trying. I did not know how bad it was till I rode her bike. I could not stand in a relaxed position. My legs would get tired after a couple minutes of standing. On my bike, I can stand for hours.

You might have several inches of room between the fuel cap and your ballzZz while sitting, but you're going to suffer from clearance issues while standing

    Moto Skivies shorts are awesome!
Been using the ADV model for awhile.
Much improved over regular bicycling shorts. Coupled with Seat Concepts seat, I'm happy.

Has anyone found a matching silver spray paint for the WRR frame? I need to do some touch up on my '08. I especially like "Duplicolor" brand.

I've gotta call your hand and add the White Rim Trail requires 105mi of fuel. :-)

...with that being said the NVBDR has a 220mi fuel section.

No but I'd love to find some. My boots are pretty tough on my frame.

I agree that a loop around the White Rim is 105 miles, riding it from top of Shafer Trail and back (tented there once). But it doesn't include mileage to and from the nearest gas, whether that be at Archview Resort (the junction of 313 and 191) or the Potash Road mileage if that's the route. But I don't ride known mileages or routes: hey, I wonder what's down this road? I also don't use GPS tracks, that takes the fun out of exploring.

Riding from Hite to the dead end at the Green River including the unknown mileage to the Maze Overlook, up Flint Trail to Panorama Point and back, over Sunset Pass to highway 95 on Poison Spring Wash Road and then back to camp the same way, having no idea of the mileage, is why I ride. Having an exact tracking of every tenth on a track in a GPS isn't for me. Although I enjoy my GPS, I'm making my own tracks, not following someone else's. :ricky

The only time I knew mileage is when this sign told me it's 33 miles back to camp. :-)

Should be able to get the color code from Yamaha. Once you have that, a local NAPA or body shop supply can mix it up, and load it into a spray bomb

    Hi guys.
    Just got a 2008 WR250R
The radiator got bent in a fall and the fan is broken (maybe fan motor burned down)
I have engine code 21and the red temperature warning light on when start the bike (even when its cold)

Code 21: Coolant temperature sensor, open or short circuit detected. Open or short circuit in wire harness. Defective coolant temperature sensor. Fault detected in ECU.

Can the faulty fan motor cause that error code, or it has to be in the CTS ?

    Thanks
